About us

About Bookronix LLC

Bookronix is a mail-in MacBook repair workshop registered in Delaware and operating from Wilmington. We chose mail-in on purpose, because it lets a small, focused team do board-level work properly instead of juggling a walk-in queue.

Who we are

Bookronix LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware, with its facility at 2140 Airport Rd, Suite 300, Wilmington, DE 19801, in the United States. We maintain a registered agent in Wilmington, we are a US business for the purposes of cross-border trade, and we are not VAT-registered because our sales are made from the United States. The company exists to do one thing well: repair Apple portables that customers send us by post.

That single focus shapes everything else. Because we are not a general electronics shop, our bench is stocked for MacBook work and our technicians spend their time on the handful of repairs that actually account for most failures: batteries, displays, keyboards, trackpads, charging paths, and the logic board beneath all of it.

How we work

We work to a written process, and we publish it. Every machine gets a work order number at intake. Every diagnosis produces a written estimate. No repair and no charge begins before you approve that estimate. Every finished machine goes through a charge cycle, a cold boot, a sustained-load thermal check and an input sweep before it is packed. Every repair carries a six-month limited warranty on the parts we fitted and the labour we performed.

We think that level of documentation is the honest way to run a mail-in service. You are handing a valuable, personal machine to a company you may never visit, and you deserve to know what will happen to it, in what order, and at what cost.

What we believe about repairs

Three convictions run through the shop. The first is that a good diagnosis is worth more than a fast guess: excluding the cheap causes before quoting the expensive one protects the customer's money. The second is that an honest “no” is part of good service: some boards are not worth repairing, and saying so clearly is better than taking a payment for work with an unlikely outcome. The third is that repairability is worth defending. Repairing a machine that still has years of life in it keeps it out of a drawer and out of a landfill, and that is a good in itself.

Our team and our bench

Our technicians work on ESD-safe benches with proper magnification, controlled heat and the fine drivers that Apple's smaller fasteners require. We keep spare parts for the models we see most, which shortens the wait between an approved estimate and a finished machine. Where a repair needs a part we do not hold, we tell you the sourcing time rather than pretend it is instantaneous.

Standards and accountability

We keep records of every job: the intake condition, the diagnosis, the estimate, the parts used and the final test results. That record is what makes a warranty claim straightforward, and it is also what keeps us accountable to our own process. When something goes wrong, and occasionally it does, the record tells us where, and the customer hears it from us first.

Accessibility and privacy

We treat accessibility as a baseline rather than an add-on, and we aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA on this site; the accessibility statement explains how to report a barrier. We handle personal data the way the law requires and the way we would want our own data handled; the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we collect and why, and the do not sell or share page explains your choices.
