Starting prices, typical ranges and a written estimate
A MacBook repair is not one product, so we publish starting prices and typical ranges rather than a single number. Your written estimate, sent after diagnosis, is the figure that counts, and you approve it before any charge.
Starting prices by service
The figures below are starting points in US dollars, before any shipping you pay to send the machine and before any duty your country may assess. They exist so you can decide whether a mail-in is worth exploring, not so you can treat them as a final bill. A machine with two faults, or a fault that turns out to be board-level, will land above the starting figure, and we will say so in the estimate.
Typical paid repairs sit inside these ranges for the majority of machines, with board-level and multi-fault jobs at the top. We do not use countdown timers, limited-time prices or pressure tactics, because a repair decision should not depend on a clock.
What moves the estimate up or down
Model and year matter most, because parts for a current 14-inch machine differ from parts for a nine-year-old Air. Condition matters next: a machine that has been worked on before costs more to service than an untouched one, and a machine with existing liquid exposure may need a clean before any part is replaced. Whether the battery is bonded to the top case changes the labour on several common jobs. And multi-fault machines, where a spill has damaged a keyboard and a rail, are quoted as one job with two parts rather than as two separate repairs.
Shipping and what you pay for it
On most lanes the customer pays shipping to us and we pay shipping back on standard service, quoted as part of the final figure. Where a prepaid label is available for your country we say so in the estimate. Duty and tax, where a customs authority assesses them, remain the recipient's responsibility, and our prices are quoted in US dollars.
Free quote request
Fill in the form and we will reply with a starting estimate, the service tier we think applies, and shipping instructions for your country. Required fields are marked. The form does not send your data to a third party; it simply opens our confirmation page so you can see the request was captured.
Payment and refunds
We take payment after you approve the estimate, once the diagnosis is complete, using a standard card or transfer method confirmed in writing. If a repair turns out to be impossible after we start, we say so and you pay only for the work actually completed. Refunds and cancellations follow the terms on the shipping and returns page.
