Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California law gives residents the right to direct a business not to sell their personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page explains our position and how to act on your rights.

Our position: we do not sell or share

Bookronix LLC does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not set advertising cookies, and we do not pass your details to data brokers or advertising networks. Because there is no sale and no disclosing-for-advertising, there is nothing to switch off in the sense the law usually contemplates. That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight, and if it ever changed, this page would carry a working opt-out before any such activity began.

What we do with personal information

We collect the categories described in the Privacy Policy only to run the repair service: to respond to a quote, open and administer a work order, take payment, ship a machine, and handle warranty and legal obligations. We share information only with couriers, payment providers and service providers who need it to perform those tasks, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a limit under California law.

Your rights under the CCPA and CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and the purposes.
• Know the categories of sources and the categories of third parties with whom we share information.
• Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights, including on price or service quality.

Because we do not sell or share personal information, the opt-out and limit rights have nothing to apply to at present. The rights to know, delete and correct are live, and you can exercise them now.

How to make a request

1. Email [email protected] with the right you want to exercise and enough detail for us to find you and your work order, such as your name, email and a work order number.
2. We will acknowledge the request and may ask you to verify your identity, so that we do not disclose information to the wrong person.
3. We will respond within the period the law allows, and tell you if we need more time or if a legal obligation prevents us from fully complying.

You may use an authorised agent to make a request for you. We may ask the agent to show that they are authorised to act, and we may still contact you directly to confirm the request where the law permits. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

Global Privacy Control and similar signals

A browser can send a Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out preference signal. We honour such signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing, which is straightforward for us because we already do neither. If you send one, nothing about your experience on this site will change, because there is no tracking to disable.

Other jurisdictions

Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland have comparable rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights under those laws. The process above is the way to exercise any of them, and we will apply the law that protects you.
