Six-Month Limited Warranty

Every repair we perform carries a six-month limited warranty on the parts we fitted and the labour we performed. This page sets out what that means, what it does not cover, and how to make a claim.

Last updated: 1 January 2026. This warranty is given by Bookronix LLC, 2140 Airport Rd, Suite 300, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States.

What the warranty covers

If the specific fault we repaired returns within six months of the date the machine was returned to you, and the cause is traced to a part we fitted or to our workmanship, we will repair it again. Where the part itself has failed, we will replace it. Labour on a covered re-repair is not charged. The warranty begins on the return date shown on your service summary and applies to the machine identified by the work order and serial number.

This is a limited warranty. It covers the repair we performed, not the entire machine. A fault in a part we did not touch and did not quote for is outside it, even if it appears in the same area of the machine.

Duration and transferability

The warranty runs for six months from the return date. It is given to the customer named on the work order and is not transferable to a later owner unless we agree in writing. Because a machine's history matters, we keep the intake photographs, diagnosis and parts record, and a claim is checked against that record.

Exclusions

What the remedy is

For a covered claim, the remedy is a re-repair or a replacement of the failed part, at our option, performed by us. The warranty does not provide a refund or a replacement machine, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be excluded. A re-repaired part carries the remainder of the original six-month period, not a fresh six months, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

How to make a claim

  1. Contact [email protected] with your work order number and a short description of the fault that has returned.
  2. We confirm whether the claim falls inside the warranty window and inside the cover described here.
  3. We arrange the return of the machine. Where the claim is covered, we do not charge labour on the re-repair.
  4. We diagnose the returned fault and tell you whether it is covered before any further work is done.

Please do not ship a machine back before we confirm the arrangement, because a parcel that arrives without a current work order can sit unmatched at intake.

Shipping on a warranty return

Where a claim is accepted as covered, we handle the return leg and, on domestic US lanes, provide return shipping for the re-repair. On international lanes, the outbound shipping of the machine to us is paid by the customer, and we cover the return leg on standard service, the same pattern as a normal repair. Full shipping detail is on the shipping and returns page.

Your statutory rights

This limited warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, any rights you have under consumer law in your own country that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where a statutory right gives you more than this warranty, that right prevails. Where a provision of this warranty is unenforceable, the rest of it remains in force. This warranty is governed by the same law and dispute terms as our Terms of Service.
